Marty Hirst and JokerXL Productions were asked to help with the (re)launch of Real Travel Magazine. A magazine packed with pictures and stories from around the world.
Our job, as picture editor, was to bring all the various styles and types of images from contributors of all photographical skills-levels, from iPhone snaps in the jungle to Pro-Consumer level DSLR raw-files in the arctic, into some sort of coherent whole so as to give the magazine a consistent "feel" from from to back cover.
An interesting project where a lot was learned and experience gained.
(and it's so cool seeing your name in the colofon of a proper hard-copy of a magazine)
